UWI spinoff startup to develop biofuel from wastewater and Sargassum seaweed

Called Rum and Sargassum, the new spinoff project is led by Dr. Legena Henry, a Lecturer in Renewable Energy.

Clive Landis, Principal of The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados announced plans for a spinoff startup to develop biofuel using Sargassum seaweed, reports Barbados’ Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.
