New Rum and Sargassum project aims to transition Barbados’ road traffic to clean energy

Barbados Today reports that The University of the West Indies (UWI) is executing a project that will see vehicles running on a biofuel made using Sargassum seaweed and rum distillery wastewater, with the aim of having much of Barbados’ road traffic transition to clean energy.
